human rights Human Rights Commission of the Maldives (HRCM) carries out the
function of human rights monitoring. As such HRCM carries out
Monitoring and
documentation of the implementation of the rights guaranteed by the
constitution of the Maldives, legislations, Conventions that Maldives is party
to
Preparation of Shadow
Reports to UN Human Rights Treaties.
Follow-up and documentation
of implementation of recommendations put forward by HRCM and UN Treaty Bodies
and carryout constructive dialogue to urge the government to fully implement
the recommendations.
