Southern Regional Office of HRCM Officially inaugurated in Addu City

The Southern Regional Office of the Human Rights Commission of the Maldives was officially inaugurated by the Vice President of the Maldives Dr. Mohamed Jameel Ahmed in Addu City, Hithadhoo today.

The Southern Regional Office in Addu City was established with the purpose of expanding the work and to increase the accessibility of the services provided by the Commission.

The Vice President Dr. Jameel and the President of the Commission Ms. Maryam Azra Ahmed addressed the ceremony.

The ceremony was attended by the Councilors from Gaafu Alif, Gaafu Dhaal, Gnaviyani and Addu City and representatives from the State institutions.

After the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Jameel met with councilors from Gaafu Alif, Gaafu Dhaal, Gnaviyani and Addu City at the Southern Regional Office.
